Refund & Cancellation Policy
We believe in transparent, predictable, and fair billing protocols for early access evaluation and platform access.
1. Subscription Cancellations
We want enterprise teams to use DucktiDuck because our human learning layer adds measurable value to your AI roadmap—not because of restrictive lock-in clauses:
- Self-Service & Written Notice: You may cancel or request termination of recurring platform access plans at any time by contacting your designated account representative or submitting a request to hello@ducktiduck.tech.
- Billing Period Continuity: Upon notice of cancellation, your team will continue to have full access to contracted teaching interfaces and verified evaluation outputs through the conclusion of your current pre-paid billing cycle.
- No Termination Penalties: We do not assess cancellation fees or unexpected administrative penalties upon subscription termination.
2. Early Access & Evaluation Refunds
Because we are an early-stage startup refining domain-specific teaching workflows, we work closely with our initial customers to ensure high satisfaction:
- 14-Day Evaluation Guarantee: For first-time paid platform subscriptions, if during the initial fourteen (14) days our structured teaching workflows or verification tools do not meet your technical evaluation criteria, you may submit a refund request for a full return of prepaid platform fees for that period.
- Custom Enterprise Agreements: For custom enterprise scopes involving specialized expert recruitment or dedicated engineering integration, refund terms are explicitly defined within the agreed Statement of Work (SOW) or master agreement.
3. Payment Processing & Paddle Merchant Timelines
DucktiDuck partners with established Merchant of Record providers, including Paddle, to handle payment processing securely:
- Once an eligible refund request is approved by our team, we initiate the credit memo immediately through our merchant processing partner.
- Depending on your card issuer or banking institution, funds typically take 5 to 10 business days to reflect in your original payment account. Refunds are always credited back to the original payment instrument used at checkout.
4. Billing Disputes & Support
If you notice an invoice discrepancy or need assistance reviewing an active subscription balance, we ask that you contact our financial team prior to initiating a bank dispute so we can resolve the matter swiftly and transparently.
